Model K was introduced during the Great depression, yet Edsel Ford was confident enough about the car and its ability to sell. Marketing aimed at "Sophisticated motorist, who need not to compromise and probably owned 10 or more Lincolns already". This has been reflected by the price of $4,500, which was enough to buy 10 small Chevrolets.
The vehicle was in original state, there were only some minor repairs done during its life, and none of its parts have ever been renovated. The engine was fine and running. Fortunately the car was complete with no missing parts, with only the fuel gauge damaged beyond repair.
The car underwent a thorough restoration, with proper body treatment and engine refurbishment. Every part of the chassis has been reconditioned and assembled back to its place. As a long-time Southern-California car, the pre-restoration condition was was very good, allowing us to preserve 99% original parts, which leads to a very high level of authenticity.
